Kitchen Pantry Pro Brand Potato Rice Masher Scoop Slotted Curved Black Handle. This appears to be commercial quality. I don’t see any markings indicating where it was made or what it is made of, but I believe it is stainless steel, and it is heavy duty. It has a very ergonomic handle with an oblong hole in it for hanging. It also stands upright beautifully, has very nice balance and heft to it. The handle has a little bit of give when I push my finger nail into it, indicating to me it is comfortable to hold for arduous kitchen duty. I pictured this being used to take something out of hot oil or water, more or less like a scoop, but google keeps terming it a masher. I believe it would be excellent for mashing potatoes or anything else you want to mash. My kingdom for some kitchen drawers!!! I want to keep it!
